About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Don't be afraid of the 5 year plan. Make and Do. Think of the acorn and don't grimace.
ABOUT ME
I was recently told (by my Italian woofing host-mom) I am a number "9"- looking to know and learn and experience a multitude of things. The jury is still out on Numerology, but its true one of my biggest problems is winnowing down my passions to concentrate.
I've studied literature and philosophy, and I think I'll put that to most use (more than in academia) in the vineyard if I can get my act going to study viticulture.
I love musc (jazz/classical/folk) , history, modern lit, cultural anthropology, brunch, frisbee, and horror of horrors, french new wave cinema.
What I really like most about couchsurfing is the very hokey idea of finding something interesting (or something that interests me) in everyone, or in something they've seen or experienced. I think in order to host you're already halfway to sharing that part of yourself.
PHILOSOPHY
You're the one who has to live in your head, so make it a place you'll want to reside in 60 years.
A conscious hand washing is better than an unconscious soup-kitchen night.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Unfortunately I'm living in a place where I can barely host myself, its too small, but I have repeatedly put people up on the couch or floor of various friends here in Munich :).
And I hope to be moving soon, so that I can host. I love putting people in contact with one another, if I think there's something one can do for the other, or an interesting conversation to be had.
