About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Hmmm, to enjoy and explore the wild expanses of Northern B.C.! Learn how to fish and hunt, do some big hiking and paddling trips, and learn as much as I can about fisheries and natural resource management and First Nations resource stewardship.

ABOUT ME

I am friendly and outgoing, always keen to meet new and interesting people. I joined couch surfing as an affordable way to travel and meet new people and get more of a 'locals' perspective on a new place. I prefer to travel off the beaten track, avoiding the tourist traps and looking for beautiful landscapes, good restaurants and watering holes.
I recently started working as a fisheries biologist on the North Coast of B.C., one of the most beautiful places in the world that so few people get to visit. If you are looking to experience true wilderness and wonderful small fishing communities, this is the place to visit!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this, but happy to both host and couch surf! I love meeting new interesting people. I enjoy playing host and cooking people dinner, and when I am a guest in someone's home I try to not be too much of an imposition, and spend as little or as much time with the host as they can accommodate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited to one hosting experience thus far, which was really positive!

Watching the sun rise over the temples of Tikal, Guatemala, listening to the sounds of parrot and howler monkeys.

Gazing at turquoise bio-luminescence in the waves under a harvest moon in Bamfield, B.C.
