I'm a recent college grad (April 2018) thrilled to be in the nonprofit and human services world. Made in Michigan and I say "ope" in the supermarket to prove it. I've had the chance to appreciate living both urban and rural lifestyles. Now, I'm mixing the two, living in a studio in downtown Petoskey, surrounded by water and forests that call to me.

When I'm not at home or work, you can usually find me outside on a hike, in a thrift store or coffee shop, or in a vehicle traveling somewhere. Or, you know, sleeping.

Passionate vegan and environmentalist. Proud tree hugger. Intersectional feminist. Advocate. Learner. Wannabe minimalist. Amateur photographer and blogger. Lover of words, art, and questions that keep me up at night.

I'm just like any other 23-year-old out there wanting to discover and make a name for herself at the same time. I'd love to continue to refine myself and connect with others along the way.

I love learning, and what better way to do so than to travel? I enjoy encountering new perspectives, sharing experiences, and having deep conversations about any aspect of living on this planet. Traveling solo is totally fine with me, but it's always fun to have someone to share the experiences with, too!

I also am not the wealthiest person, so I try to live frugally and conserve resources when I can. Staying with and/or hosting a welcoming stranger would be a wonderful addition to my life for various reasons.

Oh gosh, don't make me choose.

I can listen to most genres of music, but I'm really into indie folk, classical music and instrumentals, classic rock, and general 80s tunes.

Movie genres: sci-fi, crime, Avengers/Star Wars/LOTR, historical fiction, documentaries, some comedies, scary/horror, and really random stuff.

Books are similar to the genres above, plus: most fiction, essay collections, poetry, philosophy, fantasy, etc. Pretty much anything that will keep my interest.
