About Me

To travel to wonderful places and meet amazing people

Hello, I'm originally from Havana, Cuba but I have lived in the US most of my life. I absolutely love to travel and have lived in four different countries so far. I recently moved to South Korea to teach English and experience everything Asia has to offer.

La Vie en Road

"“We are here to drink beer. We are here to kill war. We are here to laugh at the odds and live our lives so well that Death will tremble to take us" - Charles Bukowski

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do"

"Some pursue happiness, others create it"

"Why not go out on a limb? That's where all the fruit is"

"I want so much that is not here and do not know where to go" -Charles Bukowski

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

I want to show people around the city and join events with other couch surfers. :) I can't host for the moment but I will hopefully when I finally settle down.

I have only had wonderful experiences through Couchsurfing! I have met amazing people that I hope I will always stay in touch with.

Anything fun, anything outdoors.. I'm an avid hiker.

Music, Movies & Books

It's hard to make a list. I love many books and movies. I 'm also always listening to music in any language. It just depends on what mood I'm in :)

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I have seen the most amazing sunset over Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro. One of those moments you don't forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to share with people my experience of living in Cuba and the conditions that my family there still goes through. I can also teach quite a bit of the sciences. It's amazing how chemistry can be on such a small scale but still produce large results.
