Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing since I'm moving to Japan. I really want to get to know all parts of the country (and continent) and thought Couchsurfing would be a convenient way to meet and hang out with people from all over.

Interests

I'm a huge lover of soccer. I support my local club San Antonio FC and attend games regularly. I'm also part of a Sunday league team.

I go to the movie theatre quite a bit and consider it a big interest of mine. Even if I'm traveling I like to spend some time watching a movie.

I also enjoy listening and performing music. I play various instruments and have a band (kitestx.bandcamp.com)

I listen to lots of Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Tallest Man on Earth, Placebo, Interpol

I constantly watch movies, but some favorite movies are: Fantastic Mr. Fox, Submarine, GoodWillHunting, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Motorcycle Diaries, and the Science of Sleep.

Books: Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. Recently, been reading the comic Chew and The Martian.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Peru for 30 days and taught English at several schools there.
