ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old college senior at the University of California who is studying abroad in Spain until March of 2013. I live in the Arguelles section of Madrid about 5 mins away from metro line 4. I would like to travel anywhere in Europe while I am studying abroad. I am easygoing, I like to joke around and am not picky at all when it comes to food or accomodations. Overall people who know me would say I am a relaxed person who doesnt take himself too seriously and wants to have fun and experience new people and cultures. I speak English, Fluent Spanish(with a Latin American accent) and not so fluent French.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live. Even if I am not particularly fond of or I disagree with something I respect other people's rights to have their own views and ways of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I also plan to make my couch available when I return to California(Orange County).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have met with a fellow surfers for tapas in Cadiz and Madrid and also went to another surfers home in Madrid to see him perform Flamenco(with another surfer. I am also making my small couch available in Madrid. So far I have had a great time during all my CS experiences and hope for many more.

Intereses

I like to read literature(I am an English major), I like to (try) and write things occasionally, listen to music(any kind except American country music)play various sports(especially football/soccer) and try new things. My experiences in life have been pretty limited to things in California and Mexico and so I want to see as much of the world as I can while I am in Europe.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Year after year the Coachella Music and Arts Festival always leaves me awestruck. Being among so many music fans who truly love the artists that play is such a great feeling. I also love the feeling that comes when you experience something completely new and incredible and the goosebumps that such things induce.
