ABOUT ME

I am an open minded, friendly and curious person, interested in other cultures and people. I want to see the world and even if I can not travel I want to invite a little bit of the world in my house and give people a chance to have a free lodging for some days.
Currently I live and study in the Berlin suburbs which is not convenient to go to for people who want to see Berlin city, it's pretty far out, which is why I am not hosting at the moment.

I lived in France, Spain, Russia, USa and Australia where I studied and worked.

I like meeting new people and making friends, traveling, hosting people and supporting international relationships.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I am traveling a lot and rarely staying longer than 6 months in the same place, that usually isn't mine, I am often deprived from offering a place to stay for others. I hope this will change soon.

Interests

My passion is making music and traveling. I play the piano, guitare, saxophone and accordion and I sang long time in an international choir. I like to get to know other people, listen to their stories and things they did. I love bicycling, sports in general, backpacking, cooking, audiobooks, movies, and much more.

Three years ago, with my best friend, I cycled 2000km through five different countries in Europe. That was spontaneous and a great experience! That is why we do a big cycle tour every year now.

I don´t like maths and people who are intolerant, radical and selfish.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best holiday of my life was a one week trip to New Zealand (coming from Australia) with my boyfriend where we did the most beautiful 4-day hike of my life around Mount Doom (Mount Ngauruhoe) in Tongariro National park, swam in hot springs after white water rafting, horse riding in Hobbitland and sky diving over lake Taupo.

In the summer of 2010 I traveled from Berlin (Germany) to Metz (France) 1100km with my bike and I was hosted spontaneously by many friendly people whom I met on the way. This was great because they hosted me even if they weren't members of couchsurfing.

Another great experience was a cycle tour with my best friend through 4 different European countries over the summer, camping, sightseeing and struggling against wind and wheather. It was a really intense experience that tied us together even more.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very communicative person and like to hear about other people live stories and experiences. I also like to discover a place with a local. This is something that no travel guide (book) can provide :)
