HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only couchsurfed once before, to Finland which was really interesting and super cold! I really enjoyed learning about the difference between our cultures and just everyday life over there. But other than that, I've never really had the opportunity to travel much before. I'm planning to explore Europe this summer - I especially would like to visit lots of different music venues, galleries and exhibitions, and festivals, try out lots of interesting new food, as well as experiencing alternative sorts of outdoor activities and cultures - I also love nature!

Music, I play the guitar. I also really like art and am currently studying English Literature at the University of Sussex in Brighton
I really like talking, about a range of subjects. I'm used to being around people who have very similar views to me so I'm very up for my views either being challenged or enhanced through conversations and new perspectives and understandings.

Also too many to list - but genre wise, I love magical realism and existential/philosophical fiction. I'm reading Anna Karenina at the moment.
Also really interested in children's literature - especially Victorian, and children's illustration.
Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass is one of my favourite books, The Unbearable Lightness of Being and Oliver Sacks

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I have some friends from Italy and France, but they only ever teach me profanities - I would really like to learn another language, and I think the best way to do so is to immerse myself in one.
I play the guitar and sing, myself, and also love creative things, so can always teach that sort of stuff. I also love organising a good cream tea!
Also if anyone plays any instruments it's almost imperative that we jam

Anything arty. I'm used to doing arts and crafts with children, I wish people my own age wanted to do it too tbh... I really like long walks and long digressive and meaningless conversations
