Overview
About Me
I am a never ending energy ball who loves to travel to beautiful destinations, eat food that makes my taste buds dance, and create meaningful connections along the way.
I was born in Azerbaijan, but spent first 7 years of my life in Siberia, where i went to pre-school and learned Russian. My family moved back to Baku in 2003 and I have a good memory of finally being warm and enjoying sun, tanning all the way on the coast of Caspian sea. In my former years, i also spent some time in MI, USA, prior to moving to the destination i currently reside at - Budapest, Hungary. I also had a brief chance to visit beautiful Palestine for a few months in 2019.
I have moved around and made so many friendships that i truly feel blessed about. I pride myself in being curious conversationalist, and i believe in expansion of my own mind by meeting and talking to alike-minded people. I don't like compromising my integrity and i can afford to actually stay at hotels - so, choosing CS is a conscious decision that is not directly correlated to money-saving behavior. I just believe in being enriched by this measure better than if i was alone on my trip to your beautiful city and visited top 3 museum listed on TripAdviser.
I hope you like talking and are also curious minded, because i am happy to share my culture and accumulated wisdom from all the traveling i have done. I am also very liberal and have leftist views, and also proud part of LGBT+ community. So, queer folks in search of safe housing are always welcome to stay at my place in Budapest.
This is my second account because i lost the access to my previous one and unfortunately i don't have my previous references - but you best believe i'm not new on this app and hosting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When it comes to travel, I believe that the most enriching experiences come from immersing oneself in the local culture. And that's why I prefer Couchsurfing over traditional hotels.
Staying with a local host allows me to gain a deeper understanding of the destination's culture and way of life. I've learned so much about different customs, foods, and traditions from my Couchsurfing hosts that I wouldn't have been able to discover on my own. It's amazing how much more you can learn from personal interactions than from guidebooks or online research.
CS also promotes a more sustainable form of travel. By staying with locals, I'm able to reduce my carbon footprint and support local communities in a meaningful way. I believe that sustainable tourism is crucial for preserving the environment and promoting social responsibility, and it aligns perfectly with these values.
It's a truly transformative way to travel that I wouldn't want to miss out on.

What I Can Share with Hosts
Apart from sweet talks and my company, I would love to cook for you! My kitchen back home is way too small and if yours is bigger (the likelihood of that is big) then i feel super tempted to go local grocery shopping and buy some seasonal veggies and experiment a bit - hopefully you like spicy food!
