A confused and lost soul making my way through life.
Once upon a time I moved to Uppsala to study physics, but sometimes the path of life is more winding than expected.
In other words: studying in Uppsala turned out to have compatible issues with some of my quirkier ways to function. Instead I've gathered a lot of more or less odd experiences from trying to make my way through life: among other things I've worked as a field-assistant-assistant and as a guide in a more than 500 year old silver mine. For a while I danced more than 4 days a week, I've moved more than 10 times, and met and lost many wonderful people.
I currently study water and environmental engineering at Uppsala university, and it seems it might work out this time! This is a big deal considering my rough history with the university, and I really hope I'll be able to make it.
People sometimes tell me I'm a little odd, but I like my clarity of mind. I'll admit I seem to have a tendency to analyse some things more thoroughly than other people seem to do though...
Some names I have: Timjan, Tant Mys, Nemo
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel very sympathetic towards the concept of CS, and I've had good experiences hosting.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some favorite books:
"The Kon-Tiki Expedition"
"All quiet on the western front"
"The Ethical Slut"
"Fröken Märkvärdig och Karriären"
The only movie that currently comes to my mind as a favourite is "Cidade de Deus"
When it comes to music I listen to everything from Swedish folk music to pop or jazz - I try to stay open minded. My thesis is that no kind of music is bad - it's just a matter of how long it needs to push you over the pain threshold.
Oh, and some favourite games:
"World of Goo"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I survive depression.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you all I know about the night sky! Ask me to go stargazing if the sky is clear, and I'm most likely game.
