ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be a very diverse individual. I enjoy participating in many different forms of entertainment such as sports, various leisure activities, partying, environmental exploration, and just hanging out with friends or people I might of just met. I love travelling because it allows me to experience exciting new activities I would have never been able to participate in back home and it also causes me to better appreciate what my country has to offer to the world. I also enjoy tasting unfamiliar native dishes or treats. I guess to sum things up I just love to try new things in general. Lastly, I really enjoy meeting new people and increasing my network of friends and learning from others as I travel the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have had the pleasure of participating in Couchsurfing for a few years now and find the whole idea of meeting and interacting with people of different cultural backgrounds to be extremely exciting and fulfilling; whether it be from a hosting/surfing or travelling experience!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was able to work with this non-profit organization that raised money for a village in the Fiji islands so that they could build a school and in exchange they established a no-take marine reserve. I was able to visit the village for the opening of the school. It was an amazing experience and I felt so good that I was able to work on such a project.

Just an uplifting note. While traveling through England, I once accidentally forgot one of my small backpacks on a bench. I never realized it was missing until I got off at my final stop. I didn't freak out I just spoke to one of the attendants and the said they would let the other station know to look for it. I then returned to the previous station and thankfully they found it and placed it in a safe place until I claimed it. I wasn't missing a single valuable, which shows that there is still kind, helpful, honest people out there and that the best way to approach a problem is to calmly focus on the situation and the possible ways to solve it.
