Strombic hexecontahedronal peg in a world of circular holes. Spent a number of years in the middle-of-nowhere. I appreciate science. I love to listen and hear stories from all over.

I enjoy games, stories, jumping in the snow...

If you come to visit, let me know if you have any allergies/health concerns, particularly in regards to food. I enjoy baking and cooking, and you will probably have the opportunity to consume plenty of sugar.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've met a number of people who happened to be Couchsurfers with very interesting lives and stories that I was happy to have them share with me. I can only hope to return the favor, show people a little slice of Alyeska, aka Alaska.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed once or twice, met up with people around the world (OK, partway). Hosted in Alaska and showed (and told) people a little bit about the giant state.

Interests

I'm an avid reader

Spending time in the outdoors. If it isn't pouring rain, and sometimes when it is, there's a part of my mind clamoring to go out. Expect to be dragged out for a walk if you visit.

Fixing things (computers, gears, hinges...)

Games! Card games, board games, some computer games..

I enjoy dancing, particularly ballroom. That's not saying I'm any good.

Cooking! I love seeing all sorts of different dishes prepared, even if they're not in my eating tastes.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn:
I want to go to a céilidh and learn how to dance there!
And I'd love to learn lots and lots of languages. Or as many as my brain can hold before it explodes.

Teach:
How to not run away from a bear. A little bit about life in bush Alaska! A bit of Spanish and Norwegian. Folk stories!
