ABOUT ME

Born Aotearoa New Zealand and moved around Northland living on farms (mainly coastal). At an early age I found a love for the ocean and everything it offers, Fish, waves, sand, smells and all the other senses we get from it. I got to travel my way to Europe via Japan as my first travelling experience and now being anchored back in N.Z I am always itching for the next chance to travel again. I studied a Bcouns and loved it. This took me on a path of work with the personal troubles that us humans can face throughout life. My wife Candice (http://www.couchsurfing.org/profile.html?id=6B78F9U) and I live in Whangarei city after leaving 6 years of Auckland behind. I'm a green thumb at heart and am excited to grow nourishing things.

I love meeting you all. getting into the couch surfing spirit and checking out the site to see what's happening. I've taken a liking to the group activity and see such value for locals who are not travelling (that's me)to offer their experience for their fellow travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have surfed with super rad people and have hosted some awesome people. We continue to host and look forward to the times of being hosted.

People, culture and community. Mother nature and the ocean. Surfing and skateboarding. Photography. I am a huge coffee and tea fan! there is so much art and craft tied up in these beverages. Playing guitar and hanging with friends. I am forever amazed by the playground God has created for us to enjoy.

Surfing with a pod of dolphins. Seeing the 2 oceans meet at the top of NZ. Off piste Austrian slopes and my first taste of culture outside of NZ ....Japan.
