ABOUT ME

I'm Italian and I love Scandinavians countries and their breathtaking sceneries. I do love nature and I really would love the opportunity to live in extreme north.
I'm graduated in History Science, in particular on History of Asian civilization and international sistem.
But I’m very interested in all cultures of the world. I do like also Art (I’ve studied at Art high school) Literature, to travel and doing new experiences abroad.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

untill now, I have only surfed because since I am on couchsurf, I have always travelled; I'd like to host people also, however now I don't have a stable accomodation, so it depends from time to time; I can only say: let's try...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had only good experiences thanks to couchsurfing, it is a great way of travelling, meeting people and, when happens*, get into the colture of the country.

* It happens also to go in a norwegian city and meet ONLY russian peoples, but it is an interesting and unusual experience too.(Up there, I have discovered that the tipical south-italian musical instrument called "Scacciapensieri", is the tipical instrument also for the northen russian people and the Suomi people)

Interests

I’m interested in thousen of things!
I like music (all kind of music, I don’t like hear only one music kind) I like also films and I do love Literature, in especial way Russian literature, but also American and Italian literature.
Couchsurfing is a good way to share and discover new stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: Charlie Chaplin, Ingmar Bergman, Quentin Dupieux (Rubber), a nonsense swedish film which I do not even remember the title (I never remember the titles...), Hayao Miyazaki...
Music: American's and east european's folk music, east european's rock music, russian ska, italian's singer-songwriters, Italian and German Opera, minimal, MONGOLIAN ETHNO-JAZZ and everything I hear and I like.
Books: Pasternak, Bulgakov, Gogol, Dostoevskij, Leskov (The Enchanted Wanderer), London, Saroyan, Pirandello, Calvino, Dino Buzzati, Ende...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Sleeping and looking the northen lights from a lighthouse tower in Vesterålen
- hiking in the amazonian forest with only a little bag
- survive to the amazonina forest
- working as reindeer herder in a Suomi village
- experience the thrill of aquaplaning aboard a battered airplane, with the laughter of the pilots

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to share music, books and films, I think couchsurfing is a good way to share and discover new stuff, and I am always open to new input...
I am Italian, so it is obiously that I'd like to share and discover food and new dishes...
