ABOUT ME

I just turned 21 and graduated college and am flying off to New Zealand to travel to reward myself. I had no interest in getting a steady job or continuing with school, just too burnt out. I want to push myself out of the comfortable nest and try to fly (or swim :P). I chose to go to NZ because of the gorgeous scenery and outdoor activities, but I really just want to see how life is outside my doorstep and see what makes people (including myself) tick. I hope to discover things about myself I never knew :D

I like to think I'm a very easy going person, I'm up to do anything at least once, and over and over again if I like it. I can be very outgoing when i get along with people, and have yet to meet a person that I hate. I also am always trying to make myself and other laughs :D

PHILOSOPHY

The only mistakes are the ones you don't learn from, and the biggest mistake of all is not making any.

Most problems in life are caused my misunderstandings and not realizing that other people are as real as you are.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music (playing and listening). I enjoy all types as long as it has merit, after all, I think all music is just an expression of the same feelings in different terms. The same really goes for movies and books; although I'm a sucker for the novel.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw the sunrise from a beach in Mexico and then saw the same sun set over the Grand Canyon.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have a pretty diverse knowledge of history, music, politics, arts, pop culture; although mostly Western oriented from growing up in Western society. I love talking, sharing, and exchanging ideas. I have a pretty optimistic view, which I like to try to impart on people. I taught myself to play guitar, so can help with that (no expert though)
