Hello everyone
I am Jhoselyn and I live in Milan 😊🎀

To be honest, I dont think there is a lot to say about me, I am a pretty normal person who loves to travel and visit as many places as she can. I love to discover the world through people, I think the connection that you can have with others are just amazing.

I was born in Lima (Peru) and I lived there until I was 15, then I moved to Italy (Milan) and I stayed there until end 2017, then I moved to the USA until mid 2020 and it was when I was living there that I started my journey with Couchsurfing.

I traveled a lot, met so many locals, connected with so many beautiful souls some of which are still my friends, I learned about so many cultures and I just loved really.

Now I am back in Milan, planned on staying here but I don’t want to stop traveling and meeting people through Couchsurfing, I want to try my best to visit as many places as possible around here and hopefully make new friends.
In all this time, I found myself really happy with this community, I had a bad experience once, here in Italy it was pretty bad but I don’t want it to define the idea I have of this community.
So I will try again, to travel by myself, meet locals and connect with people from all over the world.

Update: I am back in Milan, trying to travel around Italy and relived the couchsurfing way of connecting with people everywhere I go, at the moment I still can't host, hopefully that will change soon, can't wait to give back! 🤞🏼

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I m discover this app thanks to a friend (an au pair I met in New Jersey ) and I loved it, the idea of visiting places while staying in another people house is great, I think it gives you the opportunity to know more about the place you are visiting and to learn more about the culture of this country

Música, películas y libros

I m completely open to any kind of music, I m not a super crazy fan of any band or singer I just like music
I like to read but even there I can read everything from osho to fromm and then bukowski or coelho, allende, neruda, etc etc
I prefer movies that make me laugh or romantic ones, I really like horrors but it has to be a good one!

I danced with T.I in New York
I saw dolphins in Egypt (and I get to swim close to them, an amazing experience)
I was a teacher of Italian, in Italy and I m Peruvian and I think that's crazy
When I was in Malibu driving I saw a dollars rain, like in the movies dollars going around everywhere, people stopped their cars and everything to take the money, it was cool
I did skydiving twice, first time in Maui alone and the second time in Italy, with my brother
I thought myself how to make clothes from scratch (patterns sewing everything), I am still learning and I love it
To be honest I don’t think there is ONE thing I have done that is amazing, I just try to do as many as I can 😊

I speak Spanish, Italian perfectly
I studied German too but I just know some words
And I know how to make gnocchi 🤷🏻‍♀️ (but I not good at cooking so I wouldn’t trust me with this one😅)
