About Me
One more California migrant to The People's Republic of Portland. Interested in wilderness backpacking, playing boardgames, cooking vegan eats, and volunteer service to the community.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While traveling, I love the value and social opportunity that comes with couchsurfing. A warm shower, WiFi, and good conversation go a long way. When I'm at home, I like to share what I have and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I mostly like philosophy, history, and social theory. I've most recently read Roberto Bolano's "The Third Reich", Richard Yates' "Revolutionary Road", and "The New Solar Electric Home".
TV: The Wire, Continuum, The Simpsons, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, The Colbert Report, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Archer, Game of Thrones. I have a TV problem.
Music: hip-hop, reggae/ska, soul, classic country, 50s doo-wop and rock n roll, anything dancey, and some of the radio hits.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I ate a really big burrito. And then I found $20.
