This is always difficult to write about ourselves but here we go. This is a profile for myself, Imran, and my wife, Dr. Humaira, we got married recently in March 2016.

Imran: By profession, I am Business Development Manager in Information Technology. I am Born and raised mostly in Lahore, Pakistan and studied MSc in the UK from Birmingham University. I have lived four years in the UK from 2009 to 2012 and then moved to Pakistan. I have worked for NHS in the UK and I have worked for European Union project in Pakistan for Brick Kiln workers rights in Pakistan. It was great experience and it shocked me how people have been living in the poverty and without any identity for all their lives. I have tried my level best to give them health, medical, identity and education for the children at brick-kiln.
I am an optimist and hard working person who believes in NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE. I like to look at the good sides of the things but never ignore the dark sides of the picture. I am passionate and I love my job with mug of coffee at my desk. Challenges in personal, professional and educational life have made me very strong and tough person to face the hurdles of life. I love meeting new people, love talking to people, love giving a positive image of humanity, religion, culture and always up to explore new places. The best time of my life was childhood and I am loving the current life as its new chapter in my life and trying my best to write it nicely. I believe I have been blessed with great friends and great family in my life.

Dr. Humaira: Humaira is an Asst. Professor at University and take on some Research Students. She has definitely traveled around the world more than me. Just like me she was raised in Lahore, Pakistan and went to New Zealand for her PhD in Biochemistry in 2009 to 2016. She has traveled to Vienna, Washington, LA, SFO, Sydney and all over in New Zealand. She is very career oriented and passionate girl who has very genius brain, at least I think that, as she has has achieved a lot in young age. Since her A levels she has won over 20 medals and trophies, she is also won a Gold Medal in her MSc Chemistry. She loves nature and hills stations as she has lived in Otago a hilly area during her New Zealand stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are Traveling to US for couple of weeks and hoping to meet some new people and get to know the culture and people around US.
Also, I would love to host people from different countries around the world and show them around my town and share food and ride with them.
