About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To get through college unscathed and find my purpose along the way.

ABOUT ME

I am shy, but I love travelling and meeting really nice people who don't mind that I'm shy. :D

PHILOSOPHY

I live life pretty optimistically. I like to trust that people aren't as bad as the world makes them out to be. And I like to believe that my dreams will come true, some day, even though I don't know how.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I'm just surfing. In future when I have a house of my own, perhaps I'll host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had one couchsurfing experience so far, and it was lovely. I hope to have more!

Interests

Movies.
Musicals and plays.
Going to New York City to have my dreams come true, as the movies promise. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of movies. To list them down is nearly impossible. But the Lord of the Rings tops the list. :D

I like American tv as well. Lost, Glee and The Good Wife are really good. Gossip Girl is a guilty pleasure. And I ADORE Stephen Colbert and the Colbert Report. :D

I listen to soundtracks and film scores a lot, and whatever hip and catchy pop music there is too. The only music I can't stand is heavy metal and some rap.

I read books because I have to as a literature major, but not many really appeal to me. The ones that stick out most are the books I read as a child, like the Chronicles of Narnia and the Lord of the Rings, and Little House in the Big Woods and Anne of Green Gables. Books which move the heart and talk of self-sacrifice, and the struggles of growing up. (Yes, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows counts. :)) And the occasional chick lit. I adore Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. Rebecca Bloomwood simply cracks me up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I do think of one, I'll update this.

Teach, Learn, Share

If anyone wants to learn how to not stress out over things (i.e. bum around), I'm practically an expert. :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, China, Taiwan, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Singapore
