-----------------------------
I come from mainland China and have worked in Beijing for five years. Currently, I am in Hangzhou working as a project manager in a top technical company of China. During my university years, I studied Japanese, so I can speak it well. I haven't studied English since graduating from high school, but I am currently learning and can hold daily conversations without any problem. I have a lovely corgi dog, and if you come to stay at my place, I hope you are a dog lover. I enjoy playing tennis , singing occasionally, reading books, watching movies, and most of all, visiting different places.
It is challenging to write a personal profile because I believe that everyone is constantly growing and changing. Recently, I have developed a strong interest in psychology, and I plan to resign and pursue a master's degree in psychology. Through psychology, I have come to appreciate the importance of maintaining genuine interactions between individuals. That being said, I have a general curiosity about various topics of the world, and I hope to meet different people and share experiences with eachother!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I mentioned, I believe that maintaining connections with people is crucially important for every one. "Relationships" are essential. What excites me most about Couch Surfing is that it creates an opportunity to connect with people from all over the world. It would be so cool and meaningful to travel to different places and communicate face-to-face with people from different cultural backgrounds and values within our limited lifespan.
Of course, it is precisely because we are all different from each other that we must maintain basic courtesy and respect for each other's cultures and personalities here. I am glad that I feel I can do this!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
On a typical workday, a good friend recommended Couch Surfing website to me. So after getting home late that day, I started registering and logging in. When I clicked the "search" button for the first time, I saw so many "hosts" from all over the world, and I carefully read through their profiles one by one. Before I realize the time, three hours had passed! (it was already past 2 in the morning!) I ordered myself to go to bed immediately, but I couldn't fall asleep. "There are so many interesting people around the world, I really want to get to know them !" I thought. Although I have just joined Couch Surfing, I feel like I belong here! Let's embark on an adventure around the world together!
