Hello I am a final year student at Durham University, UK.
In general I am very easygoing,flexible and willing to talk to anyone. Stay in Durham most of the time, which is not a very healthy way to live!

Always trust my friends and never lose hope. Always work hard and life will reward you with surprises - this is my life philosophy!

And I do Sociology and International Relations. Volleyball is the love of my life. LOVING movies too. Can play the piano and trying the guitar as well.

Grew up in China and have lived in England for two years.

Haven't been to any part of Europe but can't wait to start exploring in this coming Christmas holiday!

My dream of life is to become a first-class documentary maker! To inspire people with reality!

My friend told me about this website two years ago and now I am still active here because it is simply lovely to meet people from where you are traveling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was traveling around England and Scotland over Christmas holiday two years ago and couchsurfed pretty much every place I went! It was sooooo amazing and I'd say if you don't couchsurf, you never understand what traveling is about.

Music, Movies, and Books

Any movie except those commercial and meaningless ones like Hollywood mass-produced tedious movies without intellectual input.
Books...um..little women is definitely worth your time, the kite runner is one with unexpected upheavals from the start to the end and needless to say Sherlock Holmes is simply classic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Prison trip in Durham. Can't imagine how people could survive if they just move from one locked room to another at all times..They don't even have to tell the time because it is just simple, boring and institutionalized..horrible.

and skydiving!!! It was a charity jump, so that any money I get from friends, family or complete strangers to sponsor my jump would go to the charity of my choice. Didn't end up much...but jumping out of a jet from 1200 feet is a priceless experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

Quite keen on teaching people Cantonese and Mandarin! didn't realize how much I love them until I started my life in England.
but always open to anything new and different.
Improving my English is always a must.
