About Me
Hi, I’m Jieyee! 👋
I’m from Malaysia and left my corporate job in Singapore after two years to follow what I truly love — traveling. During my work life I often went on short trips, but they never felt enough. So I decided to step away from the office routine to explore the world more deeply while also keeping an eye out for new opportunities along the way.
I recently joined my second Work & Travel program in the USA (the first one was before I started working full-time), and it reminded me how much I enjoy meeting new people and experiencing life in different cultures.
I’d describe myself as curious, open-minded, and easygoing. I enjoy both quiet nights in and spontaneous adventures outside. When I travel, I love wandering through markets, trying local food, taking long walks, or learning more about local culture and daily life. For me, the best memories often come from those small, genuine everyday moments.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, the best way to truly know a place is by meeting the people who call it home. Couchsurfing gives me the chance to connect with locals, exchange stories, and build meaningful memories together.
