ABOUT ME

Bonjour mes amis! My name is Juulia and I'm a university student with a comfortable couch from IKEA. I have been told it's a very nice place to sleep.

The thing I'm most proud of is that I'm officially bilingual; English and Finnish are my two mother tongues. You won't have to worry about my proficiency with either. I like studying new languages and like to think that I catch on quickly. Through my studies of language, I've also discovered the importance of culture and have developed a level of tolerance, but I am eager to question.

I live in Northern Ostrobothnia of Finland.

My taste in music is eclectic, but I tend to lean towards heavy metal and dark ambient music. I am also often surrounded by classic literature and I won't ever shut up about books! : D

I am a security-oriented person and like to play things safe, but I can have fun without any external help. : ) I am also the type of person to be surrounded by all kinds of hi-tech and eco-friendly stuff.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not eat animals and will not inflict intentional harm on any thing capable of feeling pain. I will not serve meat in my home for human beings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am very safety-oriented and thus I am not much for surfing stranger's couches but hosting others brings me a sense of security and is also more comfortable as I am more a host than a guest.

兴趣

I am interested in a variety of things; science, music, literature, art of all forms, philosophy, you name it ... I have a very wide range of expertise from cooking to tech know-how.
