I have had the opportunity to do a fair bit of travelling in between school and work, and I love exploring new places. I am currently working as a school social worker, which allows me to continue travelling during longer holidays. I live in Winnipeg but try to get out of the city as much as I can and spend a fair bit of time in Riding Mountain National Park, which I'd recommend to anyone coming through Manitoba. My work allows me to work with people with a wide range of experiences and has pushed me to learn a lot about trauma and attachment, which I have found to highlight the pain as well as resilience of people.

I think Couchsurfing is a great way to meet local people and get to know the area I am in. I enjoy meeting new people and am thankful for the hospitality of others. I would love to host more, but due to my living circumstances, I have not been able to do so.
