ABOUT ME

I joined couchsurfing a couple of years ago and I used to have a shared profile with my sister so for references please see https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/jill_katie/

Now about me, as soon as I was old enough I got out of Ireland and moved to Australia. When that got boring I moved again and again and again. So in the last 5 years I haven't lived in the same place for longer than 9 months. Now I've ended up in Glasgow learning about instrument making!

Interests

I like to walk in pretty places, I will walk a very long distance so long as I don't have to run, no running please. I also like to attempt to play music. Food is also good, pretty much any food, even better if there's nice people to share it with. I'm also a big fan of the sea, so swimming, snorkelling and scuba diving and pretty much anything involving water is good by me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I helped someone in a very landlocked part of Germany build a boat in a converted barn last summer.

The summer before I hitch-hiked from Istanbul to Edinburgh.
