ABOUT ME

I LOVE LIFE!
I love meeting people and making connections and travelling. I like being spontaneous and going with the flow..whatever happens...go with it..THE plan is no plan..
Our latest adventure hs been to cycle from Wales to Portugal through England, the west coast of France, Pyrenees, the Camino to Santiago, Gallicia and down to Porto, Lisbon all coastal route to Faro-camping, hostels, friends and couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, screaming "WAHOO! What a ride!"

I think the project is amazing.never had anything but hugely positive experiences...such a marvellous way of meeting such a variety of special people..so please come and stay with us..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have stayed with people in France Portugal and India. also at various stages in my life without the connection of net.Had people to stay from USA, France,Switzerland,Australia, Canada,Germany, Ireland,Scottish Islands, Wales,England. just come back from India and Himalayas and shared bed with the mother of my friend in their wonderful village house in Bilaspur!

兴趣

I love the outdoor life and associated activities. I adore ocean and lake and river swimming , well in warmer climes than now in Wales.. I hike, mountain bike, table tennis, ocasional tennis. I play in traditional music community band-melodeon, drums and percussion. I do yoga and meditate..

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

.I have just cycled up Satluj and Spiti valley on the Indian-Tibetan borders cycling to the highest villages in the world..crossed a 300m deep canyon in a cage on tensile wire... ...I did 10 day adventure moutain bike race with 80 riders at the start from Shimla to Manali in Himalayas..700 or so kms over the most incredible breath-taking scenery of my life-time.. but it was the people that made it and the network of support we gave and received back, not to mention the contact with local villagers on route. I was asked to present some special gift to the leading village dignitary at one village we stayed for a couple of days. The race culminated in being jointly awarded the best sportsperson award..so thankyou!

We can can teach you to dance ...quite a few traditional european dances...I can play you music..i can join you in song and dance and music.. Mountain biking -come and join us on our tandem... I can cook for you and share interesting vegetarian recipes.but would happily have you show us your favourite recipes if you come and stsay with us...I will attempt to learn your language..a few words at a time..
