I'm a graduate student at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bit of an adventurous streak. I love being outdoors and experiencing nature in a variety of ways. I am passionate about rock climbing, camping, cycling, and helping people. I enjoy many different types of music and food. My goals after grad school are to do a bit of traveling while completing some research and then become a guide at an outdoor program for at-risk youth.

My outgoing personality often leads me to a variety of places to enjoy the outdoors or gain new cultural experiences. Sometimes it's hard on a university student's budget. I'd like to meet people with an insiders perspective on where I'll be going as well. :)

I rode my mountain bike for a 500 miles section of the Great Divide Route. I plan on riding my bike a for 4,810 miles next year conducting research on engaging women to participate in outdoor activities independently.
