ABOUT ME

I am a fun, easy going, adventurer. I have a thirst for knowledge, love making new friends, and creating unique memories.

Dance, yoga, and reading are some of my hobbies. I work as a librarian for an elementary school at home and teach courses in movement at a local university for undergraduates. I am a middle child in a big Italian American family. I will eat almost anything, but I love vegetarian meals especially.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed yet! I think it'll be a fun way to get to immerse in local customs and meet new friends. Traveling has been a way for me to grow as a person and I would love to share that with like-minded others. =)

Música, películas y libros

I very rarely ever stop reading! Some of my favorite reads recently have included The Red Tent by Anita Diamant, The 4-Hour Work Week and Looptail. Autobiography of a Yogi is my all-time favorite (written by Paramhansa Yogananda)!!

Love, Actually is my favorite movie but can appreciate movies from a variety of different genres with the exception of horror.

I have taught students in yoga, dance, personal training, and public schools from ages 3 to 88!

Since 2010, I have been an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University.

My current country count is up to 25 with MANY more to see! =)

I frequently teach yoga, meditation, and dance at home. I would also be open to helping folks study English.

I can share laughter, great meals, and friendship with hosts. I certainly would not be opposed to contributing to your household while I stay (i.e.: purchasing groceries or preparing a meal, etc.).

Since many of my trips will likely be short stays and time for exploring is of the essence, it would be favorable to discuss the terms of my stay prior to arrival if you would like me to help out with a time consuming task.
