Hi, I'm Jim! I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio where the biggest claims to fame are the Cincinnati Reds - the first professional baseball team, Cincinnati style chili - its different than anything you've ever tried, and our zoo! I moved to Boulder, Colorado in the beginning of 2013 after visiting a few times. Such a beautiful city with such awesome beer! After years in Boulder i moved to Denver for a year, and now I'm off to Seattle!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I visited Boulder for the first time I ran into a group of couchsurfers purely by chance, and after hanging out with them and going to a few mixers, I saw how awesome the community is!

I'm interested in drinking local craft beers and brewing my own, outdoor activities, sports (baseball, rugby and football mainly), reading, and some video games.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the Red Hot Chili Peppers, old stuff by Incubus, Cake, Third Eye Blind, Goldfinger and so many more. There are so many movies that I like across many different genres. Comedies, from people like Mel Brooks or Kevin Smith. I love the Robinson Crusoe survival types, like Cast Away or the Martian. My favorite books are usually in the fantasy genre, Raymond Feist being my favorite author.
