Well.. I'm a very easy going, calm and happy soul! :)
I am passionate about nature and teaching others how to understand and care for our planet. I want to do my best to contribute towards the urgent paradigm shifting we need as civilization in order to survive, towards a more sustainable, equitable, and peaceful world to live.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was living in Vancouver in 2010 I started being part of the CS community. Since then I've met great people and travelled to several places thanks to this network.
I would love to meet new people from different cultures, hang out in the city and travel on the weekends. I am a very good tourist advisor! I've been to lots of beautiful places in Mexico that I can recommend you to visit, many of them nearby Mexico city.
I am finishing a Master in documentary film and currently filming a documentary about the traditional knowledge about climate in indigenous communities in Morelos. I want to learn more about this area.
My interest and passions in life are related with nature, education, photography, films, dancing, children, traveling, love and spirituality.
Music, Movies, and Books
I like World, Folk, and Indie music to listen to but also love Cumbia, Salsa, Ska, and Funk to dance... I really, really love dancing!
I love to go to watch art movies at Cineteca Nacional in Mexico city. I also love other movies that touch me and make me cry, but not to cheesy or gringas haha.
I like to read novels but lately I only read academic stuff related to school.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Being at the Rocky Mountains, Iguazú Falls, traveling throughout Argentina, studying abroad in Canada, being arrested for participating in the World Naked Bike Ride, making a documentary... etc.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you about our culture, our gastronomy, our history, our politics and our beautiful and diverse geography we have in Mexico. I can tell you about places to go, take you to alternative and hidden beautiful spots to visit nearby and also about cheap and safe ways to travel.
I'd love to learn about anything you want to share about your philosophy, your culture, your personal goals, etc..
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am not able to host in this moment, I'd love to hang out and help out with your trip planning.
