ABOUT ME

I'm originally from the United States (California), and Was going to school out in Washington D.C., but im back in california for the time being hoping to get in to medical school at some point (fingers crossed). But for now, I'm just delaying that as much as possible, hoping to see as much of the world as I possibly can before my social life ends with medical school :). As long as a city has some solid outdoors stuff to do, or good people to meet, or possibly some nice cheap drinks :) I'm there!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now, I'm traveling, so the most I can do is meet as many other CouchSurfers as I can. But once I get back home, I'll definitely be more than willing to host people out in San Diego, and if they come on the right days, I'd love to be able to show them around as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing but good things to say about my CouchSurfing experiences so far. I've met some really, really fantastic people through it, and have had only good experiences so far. I'm hoping for more of the same, the people on here are so much fun to be around, and it's such a great experience for a solo traveler like myself!

Interests

Ah, where to start... Traveling, first and foremost, should be a bit obvious :) I just really love new things, and I'm always willing to try something once, as long as it won't get me into too much trouble haha. I love being outdoors, really love hiking or anything physically active, and I'm always looking to try new, preferably adrenaline-raising, activities :) and when I get home, I'm really, really looking to start riding motorcycles, which I've been putting off for far too long.

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah, too many! I might have to say that my favorite movies would probably be some sort of mix of Step Brothers and Kicking and Screaming, though all Will Ferrell movies are ranked pretty high for me. I love most comedies, and I'm always down for an awful 80's horror movie (if you've seen Night of the Creeps or Waxworks, you're an instant good friend in my book).

Music, I'm mostly into all kinds of rock or indie, though I'm always willing to expand my interests - as long as those interests don't include pop country. Sorry! I tried, couldn't do it.

Books, I'll have to get back to you on. The Odyssey is one of my all-time favorites, partly because of who taught it to me. There are so many though, I'll have to look back through my bookshelf when I get home.
