ABOUT ME

I grew up in upstate NY on a lake in a very outdoorsy family. Went to college at Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY and liked it so much I did my master's there and worked for the university as a research engineer for a few years. My dog and I love to explore the woods, mountains, rivers, and lakes in a plethora of activities.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't worry be happy! I'm not going to say that life is too short to have regrets, but definitely too short to dwell on them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Backpacked Europe with 4 friends, and stayed on couches in Ireland and France, had a blast!

I love anything outdoors. Hiking, backpacking, camping, hunting, fishing, trapping, canoeing, biking, climbing, skiing...I'm into the extreme sports just as much as relaxing by a campfire on a lake for a weekend.
