ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, travelling geek. My wife (SmittenWithTheMitten) and I live in Berkley city of Metro Detroit.

I've done far more travel than I should at my age. Up to 30 countries in Oceania, SE Asia, Europe, North and South America. I work as a consultant so I go where the work is.

I spend my time around lots of people, but I'm actually a 'learned' extrovert rather than a natural one. So I find myself mostly happiest in small groups rather than giant gatherings, even though I'm not opposed to big parties.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm settled into Berkley, Michigan at the moment. Always happy to provide advice to those who live in the area and participate in the local events. We are generally super-busy people and as such don't like to host since we can't really spend the time looking after guests, but we can always contribute with guidance!
