HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't participated in any way yet, but I want to surf for a bit and then possibly open up my own couch for surfing in the future when I have my own place.

Generally dark comedy-crime-drama-thriller type films; Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Trainspotting and films around or within those genres are my favourites.

When it comes to music it really is what I am feeling as to what I listen to. Indie-rock is my go to, but I have been very much into electronic dance music as of late and 80's metal in the past. I go through phases of consuming genres that seem to last years. I struggle to name favourite bands or songs, so I don't. There are too many and it changes from day to day.

I have been more actively into reading as a way of expanding my mind lately, than just something I do for fun. I have been reading more non-fiction books, specifically on psychology, but also throwing in some literary classics like The Short Stories of Jack London and Death in the afternoon.

Recently driving our rental car down the staircase in the old-city in Nazareth. I thought we were going to have to pay for a tow-truck and it would be a huge deal with the rental company, but all these locals could hear us struggling and came out and helped us move the car like it was nothing at all. It just demonstrated a real cultural difference between where I'm from and where I was.

I really enjoy swapping stories with people. I feel there is a lot to be learnt from sitting and talking with others or even just listening.

I can play guitar fairly well and have taught a little in the past and really enjoy showing people how to play.
