About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to travel, to try new things, meet new people, challenge my own perception of the world and most importantly have a good time doing so.

ABOUT ME

I'm Jim i'm 27 Year’s old and I love to travel! I like good food and hope that I can sample new and exciting cuisine on my travels, I also enjoy meeting new people. I'm very laid back and enjoy cracking jokes and having a laugh. I try to take at least a month off each year to travel the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Make the most of every opportunity and embrace adventure!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch-surfed all over the world and have thoroughly enjoyed every couch-surfing experience I have had. I love embracing local culture and tradtion, seeing more than the average tourist and really building an in depth understanding of the way in which people live/lived in different parts of the world. Couchsurfing is a great way of doing this.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really only read factual pieces about new developments in the world of IT and science these days but I also enjoy a good old fashioned novel every now and then. This year I have been mostly reading Dickens!

Being technologically inclined, I have an 85" full HD TV and love watching documentaries about lost civilizations and spectacular wildlife.

I'm also a very musical person. I am often found singing and whistling without even realizing I'm doing it - I often get praised for my whistling when I'm out in public! I also taught myself to play the piano and am a member of a Brass Band when I'm at home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swimming with reef sharks on the Barrier Reef!
Hiking to Ciudad Perdida in Colombia
Swimming with penguins in the Galápagos Islands
