Hi!

I'm Jing Jie, or rather, JJ, for short. I've recently graduated from University and am planning to go on an extended trip to the Middle East/Europe.

I'll be stopping by a few places to catch up with old friends met during my exchange semester at McGill, so my travel plans are rather haphazard at this point. Hopefully I'll get to join into more Couchsurfing events as time goes by.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently taken up a new job and I'm taking a really short break in between. I haven't had the chance to travel for quite a long time so I'm taking full advantage of this opportunity to do so!

I'm hoping to meet new people all over the world and I believe that Couchsurfing is going to help me with that. I'll much prefer to interact with locals and to get a feel for the place rather than hitting up all the tourist attractions.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to host anyone currently, but I'll be happy to meet up with anyone and introduce them to some cool places in Singapore. :)

Interests

Climbing and Ultimate Frisbee are two of the sports that I play. I'm also a big fan of Football, but unfortunately I'm terrible at the beautiful game.

On my off days I like to read, mostly fantasy and sci-fi, with the occasional chick-lit just for something more lighthearted.

I also play a bit of guitar, but I'm still trying to improve on it.
