Travelling around Europe and soaking up all the wonderful culture, history and food on offer! I am on exchange for just a few short months before returning to Australia (on the other side of the world!)

ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old Chinese-born Australian girl about to finish university and embark on a career as a lawyer.

I am spending a few months in Manchester, UK on university exchange and have been making lots of travel plans to see as much of Europe as possible.

I like to be very organised and plan ahead for trips but I also enjoy being relaxed and just going with the flow. Being happy is the most important thing in the world to me and I get the most enjoyment out of being with friends and trying fun new experiences.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS Project and very excited to dive into the world. For now, I am looking to surf on some couches during my travels around Europe.

When I return to Melbourne, I would be interested in hosting other surfers if I have enough room in my future home or at least being a tour guide showing travellers around my hometown.

Interests

I love cooking, baking sweets, watching films, chatting with friends, travelling and playing board games.

I am interested in all kinds of music although my favourite is classical music. I love watching traditional ballets, operas, musicals and plays.

I read a wide range of different books and genres and enjoy reading food blogs as well!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Lord of the Rings trilogy is my favourite of all time, BBC's Pride and Prejudice series is also high on my list and I love Disney and Pixar films also.

Music: I don't listen to a lot of current pop music although I enjoy it when I hear it. My favourite is probably classical music although I really enjoy Coldplay also.

Books: The Lord of the Rings trilogy is my favourite series although I like Harry Potter also. I love old Russian and English literature and enjoy detective mystery novels too.

TV: I watch a LOT of TV and mostly enjoy comedy shows with some drama shows as well. My current favourites are: Vampire Diaries, Glee, Castle, Psych, Project Runway, Top Chef, Nigella Lawson's cooking shows, Modern Family, QI and Big Bang Theory!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently visited the World Expo in Shanghai and was astonished and impressed. There were so many wonderful pavilions - a real architectural delight! It was also great to be exposed to some new cultures and get a glimpse into what life is like in countries from all over the world.
