ABOUT ME

Jingyue ZHANG is an interesting person. She likes reading, but she spends most of her time reading books unrelated to her school works.She likes listening to music, but she barely konws the name of the songs. She has played the piano for 12 years, but she hardly plays the pieces we are familiar with.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My friend told me interesting stories and different ideas come from surfers and hosts. Then I knew couchsurfing can expand our scope of world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just started in oct.2012. Generally realise how similar and how different people are! Maybe that is why our world has a chance to be diverse and peaceful.

兴趣

Books about food.My dream is to run an impressive Chinese restaurant which promotes Chinese food to a new international status. So I invest most of my time reading books about food, such as cooking guide and other comment about famous dishes. In most cases, I will design my travelling plan in accordance with famous food. For example, when I visited HK, I made my route included as many famous local food as possible. I try to expand my version on food, so in future days, I will be able to make my restaurant a bright future.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Reaching the highest point in rock climbing. Though the rock wall was artificial and in easy level, it was still a challenge for me. After 3 times of falling, I finally made it in my forth try. It was the first time I knew how perseverant I could be.
Another amazing thing was that I took only three hours to memorising how to play a 5 mins long piece of music. I didn't remembered the task until 4 hours before my piano lesson, so I really really concentrated knowing that if I didn't do it, I would be punished severely. Luckily, I did. You will never know how nervous I was at that time.
