About Me

ABOUT ME

If I were asked to list three things that I couldn't do without, I would say traveling, learning, and reading. I'm currently pursuing a phD in microbiology (synthetic biology more precisely) in the Boston area. I'm genuinely interested in any intellectual or silly conversations with friends new or old. I enjoyed my volunteer trips to Cambodia and Costa Rica and my volunteer experience changed my perspectives on life at all levels. I try my best to connect to the community no matter wherever I am. And I enjoy listening to stories from people I meet and learn from them.

PHILOSOPHY

Knowledge, happiness, and wish for some use to the people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spend the night in the valley of Colca canyon looking at the most spectacular starry sky I've every seen.
Trekked four days to Machu Picchu and was astonished by one of the greatest ancient civilizations in the world. Felt the mountain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you everything about microbes! Do you know you have more bacteria living on you than your own cells?

I can share all my crazy traveling experience with you :-)

If you're interested in Chinese culture and food, we can talk about that over some authentic home-made Chinese dinner.

I'm interested in meeting interesting people (who isn't). Let's get a cultural exchange!

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Costa Rica, France, Germany, Italy, Peru, Puerto Rico, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

China, United States
