Hi! I am Jinseo Park and it's so nice to meet you.

I am a girl from South Korea and I am studying in Deggendorf, which is in Bayern, Germany, as an exchange student during semester 2015 s/s.

My major in Korea is medicine, but I am studying International Management here in Germany. The reason for the choice was to broaden my perspective towards the world by studying something completely different:-D

I had been studying literally all my life until last year because entering university is such an important task for students in my country. So staying abroad and traveling all around Europe is such a groundbreaking experience for me.

As I only have classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, I usually travel every week. Since my arrival in Deggendorf, I've been to Bonn, Koln, Brussels, Brugge, Frankfurt, Berlin, Munich, Salzburg, Hallstatt, Copenhagen, Nurnberg, Bamberg and Wurzburg. I'm an active traveler!

I am learning a lot from each trip and becoming more and more independent(^^) but I still have a long way to go to become a mature grown-up. I am always eager to learn everything from the places I visit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After my semester in Germany ends, Europe will be a very difficult place for me to visit for a long time. So I want to absorb everything, and experience how people in different places live and 'feel' the difference so that I can remember the whole journey I am going through as a meaningful and beautiful memory.

By Couchsurfing, rather than by just traveling around staying in hostels experience here will surely be more memorable.

Interests

I am interested in tasties big time!! I love eating tasty food around the world. I enjoy attending orchestra performances, operas, and musicals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like so many pieces of music so I can't pick just one! I'd say I like listening to many female pop artists. Umm... but I like male artists as well! Let's just say I have a broad taste for music ;-D When I have time I search for Billboard Top 100 list on Youtube and play them.

I'm not a big movie lover(or maybe I didn't have much time to discover good movies yet) so I didn't watch many movies. Some movies that come up to my mind at this moment are Avatar, Three Idiots, the Harry Potter series, and Pride and Prejudice. Well they're all so different from each other! Broad taste again!

I like reading light novels or books that gives me some motivation to live eagerly(!)
