ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Jinte and I am a student. I'm studying Social Work in Ghent and I live in a student residence! In the weekends I live in Antwerp with my parents!
I like reading, writing, listening to music, meeting new people and so on.
I enjoy the small things in life! Oh and of course travelling is one of my hobbies too! ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my friend booked a flight to Milano. We absolutely loved meeting local people!
I think I'll never book a hotel again, why would I? Each CS person I met was amazing! They all have another story to tell and yet we all have something in common: travel vibes!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted an surfed. Started CS when I was 18 and never stop doing this! I absolutely love discovering the fascinating world of CouchSurfing!

Interests

I love reading and writing,. I'm very interested in people too... I want to get to know everybody and I want them to know me as well. Since I'm studying social work I really want to mean sth for humanity. I also love different cultures and travelling the world is my dream!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like listening to Ben Howard, Bon Iver Isbells, Marble Sounds, Damien Rice,.. ! Quiet but touching music! I love Kings of Leon, Kodaline, Imagine Dragons,.. I really loved watching the movie 'The Broken Circle Breakdown' (Flamish drama) but I laughed at loud while watching 'Pitch Perfect' as well...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Morocco and that was an amazing experience. Also nature is like magic for me. I enjoy small things in life. Music can make me very happy. My dad has a motor too and I like horse-riding (although I'm not very good ;). It gives me a feeling of freedom. That's amazing!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm someone who tries to encourage people a lot. When I'm your friend, I won't let you down. I have a sense of juctice and I'd fight for it. When I want to reach something, I go for it. I'm proud of these characteristics and I'm trying to convince people to make this world a better place. I'm a dreamer and I believe hope is an important ingredient in live.
But of course there are things I want to learn too. I'm open for new cultures, people, places etc. I think all those can help me to become a better and wiser person.
