ABOUT ME

I am originally from Malaysia. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 19 to do my undergrad. After my undergrad, I decided to stay back in LA to work for a year. That year, I fell in love with LA and prolonged my stay for another 3 1/2 years. I finally left LA this year for NYC. The Big Apple has definitely been an experience!! I'm loving every minute in this new and exciting city.

My friends in NYC say I am very laid back. I think it's a Californian thing. I believe everything will work out in the end. So, no point stressing about it.

I have travelled quite a bit but definitely not enough. I spend a lot of time in South East Asia because my family is there. 2 years ago, I told myself that I need to explore Europe more and I have loved every where I have been to, especially Barcelona!

I hope couch surfing will be a way for me to explore the world more and meet new friends who can share their experiences with me!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe "everything happens for a reason" and "my life is not about me". Usually, those two phrases go hand in hand. Feel free to ask me about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not done couch surfing in the past. The closest thing to a couch surfing experience I have had is when I gave a guy, who was couch surfing somewhere else, a ride from Los Angeles to San Jose. It was very interesting hearing his travel stories for 6 hours!!

Interessen

I love sports. I watch a lot of English Premier League, NFL and college football. Outside of sports, I love meeting new people and talking to them about travels. Discovering amazing food is definitely in my top 3 reason why I enjoy being alive in this world :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love movies : Meet Joe Black, XMen series, Lord of The Rings, Face Off, Last Samurai, Batman, Momento, Inception, I can go on and on. I usually pick my movies based on the director.

Books: Recently I read the Hunger Games trilogy. I liked it a lot! Little Bee and Three Cups of Tea were great books as well.

Music: MY music selection encompasses of everything except for heavy metal :)
