My name is Jiří Skalka and I come from Železný Brod, a small town located in the North of the Czech Republic right between the Jizera Mountains, the Giant Mountains and the Bohemian Paradise. It is therefore probably no surprise that I love mountains, rivers, forests, lakes and everything nature has to offer.

I am also quite fond of nordic history and culture, which is why I went to study in Denmark, where I stayed for two years, finishing my AP Degree in Multimedia Design and Communication.

My studies then led me to what I do for a living now. I am the brain behind the keyboard and two monitors, the one responsible for what you see when you open some websites. Web programmer and coder is who I am, working for a company based in Prague. I can also fix some WiFi problems if necessary.

It is also no secret that I like anime and Japan's history always amazed me. I would love to meet some of the local folk and share our stories, exchange our knowledge or even do something interesting together if possible.

Right now my friend and I are travelling to Japan to see all its countryside's beauties and the rich history stored in the walls of its old temples and shrines. We would like to meet some of the people there, be it locals or foreigners, to share our stories, get to know each other a little, maybe visit some places or go grab a beer together (we Czechs love beer)
