People say I'm pedantic when it comes to spoken language, but I don't believe them. I love having conversations spanning movies, music, culture, arts and the likes. Loud parties are not for me. That reflects in my music taste, I guess. I normally like to plan things in advance, but unplanned surprises are welcome, if the craziness is worth it.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I will start with music. Classic rock held me by the scruff in college. This changed into alternative music scene in the last couple of years. There is a place for ambient classical stuff in my playlist thanks to Brian Eno and Olafur Arnalds. Alt-J is one of the bands that recently rocked my last.fm scrobbles. I am at peace when I listen to Iron & Wine. I absolutely love listening to podcasts like NPR Music and watching KEXP sessions.

On weekends, I almost exclusively crawl event listings in and around Bangalore. I say a weekend is not well enjoyed unless one attends atleast 3 meetups, a play and a drink up! *hyperbole alert* :)
