ABOUT ME

I'm an easygoing, open and curious person and interested in a lot of different things, but especially music, movies, theatre, art, hiking, rock climbing and cycling (being Dutch I have too). I work as a project manager in cultural education for primary schools. This summer I will be traveling throughout the North Coast of Spain and North Portugal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm still pretty new to the whole couchsurfing thing, but very curious to meet new people through couchsurfing.

Interests

I work as a project manager in cultural- and art education. In my spare time I like to go out with friends, go to the theater and watch movies, visit museums and frequently go to concerts. I like doing outdoor activities as well, for example rock climbing, cycling and running.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm reading 'Mythos' by Stephen Fry right now (love his work).. When it comes to movies I pretty much love anything by the Coen brothers. The last concert I've visited was Nils Frahm, but my taste in music is pretty broad so don't pin me down on this one!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Can't think of ONE amazing thing I've done, but several; I went paragliding once, lived in Edinburgh, Berlin and New York for a few months, went hitchhiking through France, walked for miles and miles through the Highlands of Scotland. I love to stay open for new amazing experiences though, so I hope I still have some pretty awestruck moment to come on my new travels.
