Born and reared in London, I love all things arty, melodic and cultural. I'm passionate about literature, helping other people, and how we create culture as societies. Subsequently, I love travelling, meeting people, eating food and learning about the art and history! I haven't travelled as much as I would like but I've heard this site is a great way to meet new people in new exciting places.

I'm a pretty avid reader. Here's a list of who I, like, really admire. Bukowski, Camus, David Foster Wallace, DeLillo, Philip K. Dick, Fitzgerald, Hemingway, Nabokov, the late and great Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Plath, Pynchon, Steinbeck, Woolf.

A special mention should go to two authors who I can't stop deliberating over; Stephen King and Haruki Murakami.

When it comes to music I like to keep an open mind. I grew up on pop-punk and alt, so I've got those sentimentalities pretty embedded. Not exclusively, obvs. To name a few - Alvvays, A$AP Rocky, Brand New, Jeff Buckley, Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Matisyahu, The National, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Shins, The Smiths, The 1975.

In terms of film I like most, except cash cows. I'll admit I have a penchant for quirky indie movies and well-made horror movies, a short list - Birdman, Frank, Frances Ha, Her, Madadayo (gazillion points if you've seen/liked this), Martyrs, Mulholland Dr., Rashomon, REC, Werckmeister Harmonies, Whiplash. I haven't seen a great film in ages.

I love football & basketball.
