ABOUT ME

Hi!

I am a pretty chill, easy going girl. But I like to do things, not just stay on a couch :)

I haven't had money to travel in a while, as I've been at school for the last five years, and have finally started working again.

I went to undergraduate school to learn to program computers, and didn't love it. So I went to USC for grad school to study film making, and LOVE it. I used to travel a lot to Europe, back when I was a web programmer...but working in the arts has it's ups and downs financially. I miss travelling, and am lucky enough to be able to travel some more.

I haven't traveled by myself in a while, but am excited to meet new people and see new places.

PHILOSOPHY

Hrm. I am not religious, though I had a religious upbringing. I believe people should believe in what they want to, but shouldn't preach it as the only way.

I believe in a moral code of ethics (most of those 10 commandments are great). And may be sort of a hippie at heart. But I grew up in a commercial world, and love my electronics and showers ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to the CS community - but am excited to be a part of it. I, of course, have a couch in Los Angeles, and my room mates and I would love to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed on a lovely couch in Athens and hosted a very friendly guy from Athens. Both these experiences were amazing, and I wish time and location permitted me to do more!

Musica, film e libri

My favorite books tend to be by Austin, Hemingway and Neil Stephenson. But I am open to reading new things.

My favorite directors are Jane Campion, Baz Luhrmann, Tim Burton.... and .... so many to choose from ...

Any musical by Stephen Sondheim.

My music views are ever increasing. The only music I don't listen to is country. Newly interested in dub step, and must admit I love the new Britney Spears Album - and I HATE the rest of her music!

I think the most amazing thing I have done is create my short film www.childinvisible.com. It was tough, expensive, exciting, filled with emotional ups and downs, but an amazing experience.
