About Me

Currently, I am living in Magoe, Tete, Mozambique as a secondary Chemistry teacher. I'm living here as a Peace Corps volunteer, and taking every opportunity to travel both the country and southeast Africa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Two of my favorite things in the world are going to new places and meeting new people. Some of the most interesting individuals I have met were in random places at random times doing completely random things. All it takes is simply saying hello and going from there.

Interests

While my time is certainly occupied by a number of things, I will always make time for the other things that make me happy.

After going skydiving, it has become something that I will always jump at the opportunity to do again.

Attending as many concerts as possible.

Playing tennis whenever possible (sometimes difficult in Wisconsin (scratch that, very difficult)).

Hiking around random places.

Watching virtually any movie.

Reading as many things as possible.

Inevitably getting lost in cities or airports, most likely both.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I jumped out of a tin can three and a half miles in the sky with a little bit of fabric to prevent me from dying.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you about being a rural EMT and all of the hilarious, sad, hilariously sad, and motivational stories that come along with it.

If you are interested in philosophy, or have a feigning interest in it, we can have some truly enlightening conversations.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am the type of person who can and will discuss seemingly any type of topic, which seems to be a lost art.

One should always be prepared my occasional and spontaneous bouts of sarcasm, which I can assure you are always quite entertaining.

If one is ever curious to hear a wide range of stories ranging from studying philosophy in Colorado to poorly singing karaoke in Jacksonville to surviving an intense mosh pit in Milwaukee, I'm the guy for you!
