ABOUT ME

I am a pretty easy going person. I love to sing above most things. If you ever meet me, you will find out I have a song for just about anything. I was a dancer for 12 years, but stopped dancing to pursue music. I am also an avid cook. I've always wanted to be a chef, but I'm working towards a German Education degree instead. Hopefully I will eventually be able to afford culinary school and fulfill that dream. I love to travel, hence the reason why I'm studying abroad in Germany and trying to get to as many places as my budget will allow. I love animals of all sorts, I have even handled live scorpions!! I am totally out there in my own special way, but that's what makes me who I am!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is just to live in the moment and to enjoy the time I have here because I'll never know when my last breath will be until I take it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't really participate much, but I do hope to be a surfer and maybe if anyone has any inclination to visit Marburg, Germany or Wausau, WI in the near future I would love to give a day tour or something.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have any experiences yet! Hopefully I'll have an experience in London and then I'll write about it!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to just about anything, though I don't really enjoy country music and I'll listen to rap when I'm in the mood for it. I love rock, metal and alternative. If you name any American based band, I've probably heard of it. Music is my life. I enjoy reading the Twilight series as well as Harry Potter as cheesy as it sounds. I also enjoy romance novels or "smut books" and I like to call them. My favorite author in that genre is Sherrilyn Kenyon. She's got quite an interesting plot in all of her books and it makes for a good read. I'm really open about movies too. I love a good slasher movie, but I still love my chick flicks. I would have to say though, that comedies are my favorite.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing that I have seen is the Tuscan hillside at sunset with the most amazing view from Volterra. It was breathtaking. I now know why they say that once under the Tuscan sun, you'll never want to go home.
