ABOUT ME

I'm originally from a small town called Ashland, a cultural community famous for its world renowned Shakespeare festival, in Oregon on America's west coast. Currently I attend school in southern California at a small Liberal Arts institution called Claremont McKenna College. I'm majoring in Philosophy and Public affairs and economics. this year I am studying abroad at Oxford in their Philosophy, Politics, and Economics program. I love to travel the world and meet to people, and exchange new ideas, and have new experiences. I am a vegetarian since birth, but am used to eating simply and healthily. I am fascinited by our world, and want to experience as much of it as quickly as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that I should take every opportunity to cultivate myself into becoming a better person. I want to live my life so I have no regrets, seizing evey moment, while providing myself security for the future.

I have surfed in Spain, Greece, Austria, Hungry, and Scotland.

Because I very every advanture as an opporunity for personal growth through challenge and fun, I want to share my perspective on life, and contrast it with that of other people's, through which I hope to gain deeper wisdom and a more stable grounding for myself.

I have just participated in debate training for high school adn middle school teachers in conjunction with the Steve Biko Foundation in underprivledged areas in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I want to cotinue to share this gift I have with others around the world.
